7 Dependency Reducing Reforms Ohio Voters Want

Opportunity Solutions Project conducted a poll of 509 likely Ohio voters in June 2017. Results concluded that Ohio voters want welfare reforms – specifically seven key pieces.

Top line results include: 80% of all voters want to preserve resources for the truly needy by checking eligibility for individuals on welfare more frequently with better technology, 79% support work requirements for food stamps, and 81% support checking food stamp applicants financial assets to preserve limited resources for the truly needy.
